What a ride! This book had me glued from the moment Stevie and Bernadette are thrown together. I honest to god couldn't put it down and felt like I missed the characters as soon as I finished.
--Les Rêveur Still, I loved the romance between the two leads, how they meshed with each other’s important people, and how the inevitable breakup was resolved. There’s a fair amount of humour in this story, but it also has some really emotional moments, I had pretty much ‘all the feels’. -- Reviewer on Goodreads.com The author has wrapped an age-gap romance sprinkled with angst, dealing an aging parent, sign language and fear of change into a neat read. I particularly appreciate how the main characters' emotional ups and downs are written and took my time reading this book as it hit close to home (dealing with an aging mother). Thank you Ms. Zak for handling that topic so deftly. -- Reviewer on Netgalley.com |

Erin Zak is definitely the dark horse of the Lesbian Fiction world, she is definitely one to watch. Create A Life To Love is a soulful story of how love can conquer all. I laughed, cried (sobbed) and got butterflies more than once, and did you see the cover art? Fantastic.
--Les Rêveur As sad as the way the beginning of this story played out, I love the way the three women connect, supporting each other and thriving together. It was really beautiful thing to experience. I have come to know that I can rely on reading an amazing book by Erin Zak, and I look forward to more in the future. -- Reviewer on Netgalley.com When I read a book, I initially look for one that will make me think and feel as the characters do. Create a Life to Love by Erin Zak does exactly that and so much more. The author sets a hard course for herself when she wrote the book with three points of view, however she completely mastered it. -- Reviewer on Goodreads.com It’s well-written, the story flows well and the characters are well-fleshed out. I love how art is incorporated into the story without monopolizing the plot. If it’s not clear yet, I love this book! I’m going to buy the paperback and I will definitely check out the other titles Erin Zak has released. Highly recommend! -- Reviewer on Netgalley.com |

Breaking Down Her Walls is another solid story from Erin Zak.
-- Reviewer on Netgalley.com I loved this book. What's not to love about cowgirls and horses. This is Erin Zak's 2nd book and is wonderful. Full of scenery and angst. -- Reviewer on Netgalley.com This splendidly crafted age-gap, slow-burn romance with quite a few compelling reveals about the protagonists' past made this story even more captivating and so well worth a reading experience! In other words, a BLOODY GOOD read! Totally RECOMMENDED! -- Reviewer on Netgalley.com 5 Stars, I really enjoyed this book, even more than I thought I would. ... This book was a solid piece of writing. It has a lot of tension and I loved every second of it. -- Reviewer on Netgalley.com |

I loved the chemistry between Pam and Kathryn
...I loved this book and I loved the chemistry between Pam and Kathryn. I enjoyed the buildup and the scenes...I’d gladly recommend this book! --Reviewer on Netgalley.com A lovely lesbian romance This was a lovely lesbian romance and to be honest it was Pam that made me love the book the most. Her beautiful soul and personality shines through with every conversation she has with Kathryn or her best friend, Judy. --Reviewer on Netgalley.com Well Written Falling into her is the first book I have read by Erin Zak, and I found myself engrossed and lost in the story. ...The book is well written and gives you a mixture of friendship, love, heartbreak, happiness and angst. The book makes you invest in the characters, and when they feel emotion, you can't help but feel it too. I would, without hesitation, recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading romance novels. I will definitely be looking at more work by Erin Zak, after reading this. --Reviewer on Netgalley.com Although a good length, I wish it kept going. I thoroughly loved reading it. I was looking for more novels by Zak. Impressive for a first. Sure it could be different or improved. More character development for example, but I found myself looking forward to reading it every night. --Reviewer on Amazon.com |
